PUBLIC SPEAKING AND PRESENTATION SKILLS
This course provides the requisite knowledge and insights to become more proficient in the art of delivering presentations in any organisation. This practical course is designed to enhance the effectiveness of your presentation delivery. Effective presentation skills are useful in sales, meetings, seminars and training sessions to help you keep the audience’s attention. During this course, we review the objectives of informing, educating or persuading as they apply to presenting, to enable you to develop and apply strategies for your own delivery.
This is a two (2) day intensive course. The course is conducted through:
- Regular scheduled public courses
- On-site (In house) courses for organisations or sectors’
The course is ideal for individuals who wish to enhance their presentation skills as
part of their personal and career development
Prospective delegates must at least have a National Senior Certificate.
- A reasonable command of English is certainly helpful
- An ability to use Keynote or PowerPoint to create presentation slides
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:
- Identify and analyse the target audience for an effective presentation;
- Plan and prepare the structure to communicate the central message of the
presentation logically; - Plan visuals and other devices to involve the audience during the presentation;
- Prepare supporting material suitable for the presentation;
- Identify and analyse the environment for the presentation; and
- Identify and choose the kind of presentation fit for the purpose.

This practical two-day course is designed for personal development. The format of the workshop will be highly interactive, reflective and relevant to the participants. The facilitator will stimulate discussion relating to your work experiences.
A certificate of completion of course will be awarded to delegates who attend and
complete the training course as well as the award of CPD points.
