EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME ON SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
This module focuses on the development and application of decision models in supply chains with emphasis on demand forecasting, aggregate planning, inventory
management (cycle and safety), supply network design, transportation, coordination and sourcing. Spreadsheet based tools and techniques will extensively be utilised in building various decision models for effective decision making in supply chains.
This is a three (3) day intensive course. The course is conducted through:
- Regular scheduled public courses
- On-site (In house) courses for organisations or sectors’
This programme is for senior supply chain managers both in the public and private
sectors.
Relevant work experience
- Provide a strategic framework that can be used to analyse design, planning,
and operational decisions in a supply chain. - Discuss issues to be considered when designing a supply chain network.
- Determine the importance of planning in a supply chain and provide basic
tools that can be used when planning demand and supply. - Provide an understanding of why inventory builds up in a supply chain and an
identification of managerial levers that improve supply chain performance and profitability while lowering inventories. - Explore strategies for designing and planning transportation networks
- Explore ways in managing cross-functional drivers in a supply chain, i.e., sourcing, pricing and revenue management, information technology in a supply chain, and coordination in a supply chain.

The format of the three days course is highly practical, interactive, reflective and relevant. The facilitator will stimulate discussion relating to your work experiences. A proper mix of lectures, Q&A, discussions, exercises and case studies.
A certificate of completion of course will be awarded to delegates who attend and
complete the training course as well as the award of CPD points.
